Gabofloor KB 12
KB 12 for low floor construction heights
By means of a dry wall construction system that has been developed by gabo Systemtechnik gmbH, it is now possible to realise floor heating systems including water, without having to bring in complex and time-consuming screed. The gabofloor KB 12 system consists of milled plaster panels into which polybutene pipes 12×1,3mm are inserted on the construction site. This system can be used on all building types.
KB 12 for new buildings and renovation of old buildings
gabofloor KB 12 is applicable for the laying on existing floor constructions (renovation of old buildings) as well as in conjunction with wooden beam ceilings (framehouses of prefabricated houses) as floor heating systems. Due to its versatile construction possibilities the KB 12 floor construction can be customised to any circumstances on the construction site. It is also possible to intergrate different additional insulations into the floor construction.
What type of floor coverings can I use this system with?
You can choose any floor coverings with KB 12. Tiles, parquet, laminate or carpet – any floor cover is possible, although we do ask that when laying the floor heating the floor cover should already have been chosen.
KB 12 for low construction heights
A special characteristic of the climate floor KB 12 is the possibility of direct application of tiles on the gabofloor system panel. Through this, particularly low floor construction heights can be realised (see left side of image). The loss of energy downwards is being circumvented by a very thin insulation panel of company PCI.
